We took our car to Silverlake for a pre-scheduled appointment and, upon arrival, they told us they would not service the car because, after our prior service visit during which they identified several problems with our car, we did not make follow-on service appointment to have those problems serviced by Silverlake. That is a very unprofessional and inconsiderate thing for them to do. Only a clown or a jerk would do such a thing. If they had instead called us to inform us of their ‘policy’ decision before we drove all the way to their to their shop, or if they had instead when we arrived honored that appointment and told us it would be the last time they would service our car, either of those would have been professional responses. Ironically, we had several months earlier purchased approx. $800 in new tires and pressure sensors from them. I hope they might experience similarly poor and inconsiderate treatment by another person sometime, just to experience what it is like. We have told our closest friends about this just to forewarn them about Silverlake Automotive.
