⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10,000 stars if I could!) SilverLake Automotive quite literally saved our camping trip. We were in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in the middle of a camping and mountain biking trip when our truck suddenly wouldn't start. With an overlanding build, it's not always as simple as swapping out a part, and we were worried we'd be stranded for days. SilverLake Automotive got us in the very same day. They diagnosed a failed starter, had the replacement part in stock, and then did something that you just don't see very often anymore. Our technician, Michael McFarland, stayed late after hours to finish the repair so we could get back on the road the very next day. He absolutely didn't have to do that, but he did anyway. That kind of dedication and pride in your work is rare, and it made all the difference for our family. What impressed me even more was that Michael understood the added wiring complexity that comes with an overlanding vehicle. He took the time to do the job right instead of treating it like a standard repair. If you're anywhere near Coeur d'Alene and need an honest, knowledgeable shop that genuinely cares about its customers, I can't recommend SilverLake Automotive enough. Phenomenal service and team. Easy to make an appointment online at the CDA location. No waiting when I arrived. Complimentary Shuttle ride to and from home. I had to pick my dogs up before 5pm and they made sure I had plenty of time to get them. They inspected my car and sent photos of issues, which I love to see. I had brakes done one day, they were able to clean up a few things and saved me about $600, which I greatly appreciate. HUGE thank you!!!! Prices are competitive. 4 days later I had 4 new tires installed, lucense plate light bulbs and air filter replaced. Again, they were considerate of me picking up my dogs before 5pm. (Big thank you) The front office team are very friendly. The service team did a excellent job, and in a timely manner. I highly recommend.

I never met our technician for the repair. But Jordan and the other gal up front were very helpful through the entire repair experience. I will be back. You have a new customer!

I cannot recommend Silver Lake Auto enough. They have taken care of my Tahoe from the very beginning, and every experience has been excellent. The team is always kind, informative, and patient with any questions or concerns I have. A special shoutout to Jordan and Julia for always going above and beyond with communication and customer care. Even though I may not always meet the technician in person, I know Eli is taking great care of my vehicle. You can truly tell this shop takes pride in both their work and their customers.
