YOU GUYS WERE GREAT!! Thank you so much for all your help! Everything got done in a timely matter. Silverlake was great about keeping me informed every step of the way on billing and what needed to be done to my rig. Julia was amazing with breaking down and prioritizing what all needs to be done with my Tahoe so I can start to get one thing at a time fixed. I really feel like I am a valued customer there :)

Been doing business w/Silverlake since I moved back to northern Idaho 13 years ago and they've never let me down.

Both my wife and I have been more impressed by this experience with a mechanic service than I believe we ever had. They were quick to see our car, communicating clearly and often, and had our service done quickly also. Thank you and you will most likely be seeing us again.

That is so incredibly kind of you to say! We appreciate you taking the time to write us these positive words and for sharing your thoughts. We hope to see you back again in the future to assist with your automotive needs. Have a great day!

They quoted me over a thousand dollars in parts that were only 320. These guys are shysters and straight up Con men. And they're services cost WAY too much 400 for a valve cover gasket swap? Yeah or I'll go anywhere else and get it done for 150. Hacks.

I was having some trouble with a rough engine idle a while back. Took it to Silverlake on Mullen and they were unable to find anything to indicate a problem with the engine. Fast forward a couple months and I blew a head gasket. I’d say without a doubt that the tough idle was the start of the gasket going. Needless to say I was annoyed they dropped the ball there. Every shop in the area was booked for weeks and without a work vehicle I was high and dry. I decided to replace the head gasket myself and after completing the job I had some issues with start up. I initially thought it was the timing and really couldn’t motivate myself to rip the engine apart yet again to figure it out. I called Ryan and explained the situation and he said he would take a look at it in a week or so when he could fit me in. So I got the vehicle towed to Silverlake on W. Hanley and figured I wouldn’t hear back for at least a week or more. I got a call from Ryan the next day saying my truck was running and would be ready to pick up tomorrow. Turns out some connectors weren’t plugged in and a couple hoses and bolts including some grounding wires weren’t properly connected. Lesson learned and even though it cost me a bit of $$ it was less than his initial estimate and I got my car back way faster than it thought. Thanks for getting me back on the road guys. I know where I’ll be taking my car next time something goes wrong.

Thank you for sharing your experience at our shop, David! We are happy to know that we were able to assist in determining the issue and getting you back on the road safely. Thank you for choosing our shop for your automotive needs and we hope to continue to earn your your trust for many more years to come. Have a great rest of your week!
