Silverlake Automotive has exclusively work on my two cars for the last eight years. I have never found them to be less than helpful, honest, and thorough. They have never let me do anything that didn't need to be done to my car, and they have always helped to make sure that anything that was needed for safety did get done. Well I can no longer described them as least expensive, I can always describe them as best value. Best of all, this past visit was not a planned event, but the discovery that I needed tires unexpectedly due to an alignment problem. I didn't want to put tires on without an alignment, which the tire company didn't do. So they made room for me the same day. I have always felt like they treated me that way. Making room if I had a need.

Once again, silver lake delivers. I had a fuel pump go out on a Weds night and had it towed to Silver lake that night. Thursday they jumped on it ASAP, diagnosed the pump and had it out same day. With no appointment, and in an emergency, I appreciate the quick turn around response and getting my work truck back on the road!

The folks at Silverlake Automotive are fantastic to work with. They are honest, upfront and extremely competent. While that would be enough to make anyone happy with their service, they take the experience to a completely new level by making you feel at home and like one of the "family" while you wait for your vehicle.

Ignition coil went out coming down from British Columbia back to Oregon. Fred got me right in diagnose the problem we were out of there in 3 hours they are a blessing

My son's car is a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT with the 3.4 V6. In our house we are not afraid of working on our own vehicles but when it requires more advanced knowledge, we know when to thrown in the towel. The symptoms screamed blown head gasket but the heads had been shaved just a couple months ago. I had never used an independent garage before but had heard good things about Silverlake. Expecting to make an appointment, I called in the morning and they had a spot open for the car that day! By 5:00 that day the car was fixed and running better than before. The service was quick, professional, attentive and accurate. They communicated everything before moving to the next billable item. When I asked if we could add another service item to the list, they replied, "Sure, but it doesn't appear to be needed." Nice. They had the green light from a customer to continue charging for work that may or may not be needed and yet they chose to work with me. This is how you treat people, establish long-term customers, and gain advocates. Thank you for the great job. If we need advanced expertise and knowledgeable attention, we will definitely return to Silverlake. (Oh, and I am telling my family and neighbors to do the same.)

1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT. The work Silverlake did was quick, effecient and professional. They quickly got the car in that morning, diagnosed the issue and implemented repairs. Very positive experience. This was our first time using them but definitely not the last - will use them again.
